MoU between the Ministry and IRARA signed

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations and the International Returns And Reintegration Assistance (IRARA) was signed by Deputy Minister Wafiullah Kakar and country director Abdul Qader Omary on Sunday, 2 May 2021.

According to the MoU, the IRARA cooperates closely with the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations, and shall provide assistance programs to returnees, and the projects’ monitoring and evaluation shall be conducted jointly. Under this MoU, the IRARA is obliged to submit regular progress reports to the Ministry.

Mr. Abdul Qadir Omari assured deputy minister Kakar to work closely with the Ministry and inform the Ministry about its activities regularly.

Currently, the IRARA provides reintegration services to returnees at the Hamid Karzai International Airport and 34 provinces across the country.
