In a meeting with MP Ibrahim Aydin (Chairman of Parliamentary Friendship Group Afghanistan and Turkey), Wafiullah Kakar (Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs) spoke about the urgent need for a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of migration.
Mr. Kakar - while recalling the excellent and long-standing relations between Afghanistan and Turkey - stressed the need to maintain and continue the cooperation between the two countries in the field of migration.
MP Ayden described Afghanistan as one of the countries with friendly and stable partnership with the Republic of Turkey. MP Ayden announced the preparation of a visit of the Afghanistan-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group to Kabul to strengthen cooperation in the fields of migration, peace, education, agriculture, and other sectors.
