A training workshop was held for the heads of the Ministry of Refugees
The Ministry of Refugees, in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), organized a three-day training workshop for its Heads and Second Units on the 3rd of October at the InterContinental Hotel.
At the beginning of the opening session of the workshop, Mr. Mohammad Arsala Khorouti, Deputy Minister of Refugees, explained about the problems of refugees and displaced persons, the existing opportunities, the implementation of the Ministry in different sections, the goals and plans of the department.
Mr. Takshima then spoke to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and promised to provide basic facilities and employment opportunities for IDPs and returnees
Subsequently, Mr. Ashkar, Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), spoke for Afghanistan and said that in cooperation with the Islamic Emirate, cooperation in facilitating the relocation of displaced persons, suitable conditions for dignified and voluntary return of refugees, as well as preventing irregular migration, cooperation. Dr. Mohammad Saeed, a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, also said in her statement that in understanding with countries and international institutions, they are trying to solve the existing problems of the displaced and displaced people.
The other speaker was, Dr. Balaji, in charge of UN Habitat for Afghanistan, promised to cooperate in the field of municipal services and to create the necessary facilities for returning migrants.
Recently, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke about the problems of immigrants in the host countries and the prevention of irregular migration, and assured the necessary conditions and facilities for international organizations.
The workshop will continue for another two days and will include training in various areas of work for those involved.
