Deputy Minister Wafiullah Kakar Meets DRC Country Director
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Country Director Jared Rowell paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs Wafiullah Kakar on Monday, 02 November 2020. Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs Wafiullah Kakar appreciated DRC’s engagement for Afghan returnees and IPDs – particularly the importance of DRC’s role as the leading agency for Emergency Response Mechanism (ERM) Consortium.
In this meeting, both sides agreed to further improve the cooperation on migration issues. HE Wafiullah Kakar asked for a better coordination and consultation with the MoRR in terms of DRC’s activities.
Moreover, Deputy Minister Kakar informed Mr. Rowell that the leadership of MoRR is determined to further strengthen the ownership of the Ministry, and puts all efforts so the services reaches all geographic locations of the country, and make our work more efficient.
