Deputy Minister Kakar exchanged with EU Commission and Swedish government

Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs, Wafiullah Kakar, met virtually with Mr. Johannes Luchner (EU Commission) and Mr. Mikael Tollerz (Swedish Ministry of Justice) on 19 January 2021.

Mr. Tollerz explained the asylum process in the Kingdom of Sweden and emphasized that the Swedish government takes all rules and regulations seriously.

Deputy Minister Kakar informed Mr. Tollerz that the MoRR has received complaints from individuals and various institutions that - in some cases – the rights of Afghan asylum seekers and migrants are being violated. Mr. Tollerz gave his assurance that all  complaints will be follow-up to earnestly.
