Mr. Akhlaqi: Ministry’s Five Years Future Strategy Plan Must Discuss Several Aspects of the Country

On Wednesday, 16th of September giving speech in a seminar aimed (designing five years’ strategy for migrants), the acting minister for Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations (MoRR) stressed on considering the social, security and cultural aspects of the country in mentioned strategy plan. He said that this strategy should be respond the Comprehensive Migrant’s Policy and National Policy for Internal Displaced.
“The government is negotiating with Taliban, one point that the strategy must be considered is the probabilities after negotiation.” Said Mr. Akhlaqi.
Moreover, he said that Afghanistan republic country accepted the six commitment of international association for migrant in 2019 for sustainable integration and supporting the migrants and returnees. “the future strategy should consider the priorities and commitments on that protocols so the government and donors not face to any challenges on running the strategy.
Also, he emphasized on “avoiding political treating with migration topic and said that the strategy should consider migrants and returnee’s humanitarian and citizenship rights. Added the main focus in this document must be the national security and national interests of Afghanistan.
This seminar has been held by Mr. Sultan Ali Javid the head of MoRR’s policy and plan department and technical cooperation of GIZ in Kabul.
