Voluntarily Return After Peace; MoRR Planning for Sustainable Integration of Returnees

On Thursday, August 27th, via a video conference with the director of migration department of United States Embassy in Afghanistan (USEA), the minister of refugee and repatriation have noted about planning on stable integration after peace in Afghanistan.
Mr. minister have added that from 6.5 million afghans migrants at least 4 million of them will come back to Afghanistan and handling of returnees will face to some challenges in first years due to high range of returnees. He added: “in this case we ask the United Stat to support the Afghanistan government.” US is the one of the key donors of Afghanistan Government. Told Mr. Alemi Balkhi.
Moreover, Mr. Balkhi appreciated US’s efforts in peace process and its 180& donate for afghans in Afghanistan and abroad. He emphasized on importance of ministry’s programs on immigration, developments and added that efforts are ongoing to ease the transferring currency of migrants from abroad with ministry of communication and IT. Mr. Minister added: “the government of Afghanistan have been negotiated with other countries in case of job opportunities and admitting them in international markets. Some progresses seem in this issue, told Mr. Balkhi.
Also, Mr. minister noted about building relationship with Afghan diaspora and added: “the relationship stablishing will meet afghan diasporas needs, in another hand their spiritual and material capitals will be used on governmental improvements.
Meanwhile, the director of immigration department of US Embassy expresses her happiness for US’s achievements in humanitarian felid in Afghanistan. she emphasized that united states will help Afghanistan in handling internal displaced and providing job opportunities for afghan returnees. she welcomed the decision of ministry of refugee and repatriation in building relation with afghan diaspora.
It comes in days of holding the Geneva conference which peace is on the top of its agenda. The ministry of refugee asks international partners of Afghanistan to determine their comments on migration.
