Deputy Minister Kakar: Ownership of the MoRR must be taken into accountMeeting with German Embassy and KfW representatives

Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs, Mr. Wafiullah Kakar, hold a virtual meeting with the German Embassy (Development Cooperation) representatives and the KfW German Development Bank representatives on the “Integration of Returnees and IDPs” project on 05 May 2021.

HE Kakar expressed the Ministry’s dissatisfaction and concerns in terms of the implementation of the project. He requested the KfW to advise the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) to regularly and timely report technically and financially to the MoRR. The project must be realized in close coordination and cooperation with the Ministry.

The KfW representative, Mr Michael Gruber, reassured the ownership of the MoRR in this project and that it shall be implemented under the leadership of the MoRR.
