Deputy Minister Kakar virtually meets with GIZ PME representative

Wafiullah Kakar, Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs, met Mr. Matthew Rodieck, representative of the GIZ Programme Migration for Development (PME) virtually. Deputy Minister Kakar appreciated the continuation of the GIZ engagement on Afghan migration affairs. Both sides exchanged their views on the new declaration of cooperation which shall be signed in May, support to the returnees at the Kabul Airport via civil society partners, IT assistance to the MoRR, and the support for organizing the International Migrants Day. Deputy Minister Kakar and Mr. Matthew Rodieck agreed to establish technical groups to explore the details of the GIZ PME’s above mentioned assistance to the Ministry
