MoU signed between Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations and Danish Refugee Council

Deputy Minister for Refugee Affairs Mr. Wafiullah Kakar and the country director of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Afghanistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 23 December 2020.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a joint document between the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations and the Danish Refugee Council, which sets the basis for the cooperation and activities in the field of repatriation and displacement as well as legal demands of internally displaced persons and returnees.

Deputy Minister Kakar expressed his appreciation and called on the Danish Refugee Council to share any challenges with the Ministry which could lead to delays in assisting IDPs and returnees, and requested the DRC to work closely with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
