Deputy Minister Kakar exchanges with CONCERN Country Director

Wafiullah Kakar, Deputy Minister of Refugee Affairs, met the new country director of CONCERN Worldwide Afghanistan, Mr. Graham Davison.

Mr. Davison explained the activities of CONCERN, which are in the area of emergency response for returnees and IDPs in the provinces Takhar, Badakhshan, and Kunduz. Services of CONCERN cover, among others, the facilitation of the provision of water, sanitation, health and education services.

Deputy Minister Kakar informed Mr. Davison that the proposed general Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is under process and requested CONCERN to work in close coordination and cooperation with the Ministry and the respected DoRRs.
