Meeting hold for Preparation of 8th EU-AFG JWF Working Group Session

The preparation meeting for the 8th session of the EU-AFG Working Group Joint Way Forward (JWF) took place at the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations on Sunday, 08 November 2020.

At this consultation meeting, which was led by Deputy Minister for Refugees Wafiullah Kakar, the participants discussed the key issues to be raised by the government of Afghanistan. These are the current political and security situation in Afghanistan, how to further improve the joint management of the return, better provide facilities and social benefits for the returnees and ensure their sustainable integration to be addressed at the upcoming meeting with the European Union virtually on Wednesday.

Representatives of the National Security Council, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Interior (Border Police), Ministry of Finance, and the Independent National Aviation Authority attended the meeting.
